Justin Bieber is set to end his musical hiatus with an R&B album reported for release next month.
According to HITS Daily Double, Bieber will release his highly-anticipated new album before the year is over. The new album will reportedly consist of only R&B songs that the singer has dubbed “R&Bieber.” It’s also rumored to feature some high-profile collaborations including a “possible reunion with Drake.” The Biebs is also expected to return to the stage in a promotional tour that would follow the album’s release.
The Grammy award-winning singer previously teased “R&Bieber” on Instagram last month when he told fans that he would release an album before Christmas if he receives 20 million likes.
“Share it, like it, post in your story, I gotta see the demand 😉 love you guys pumped for it!” he wrote on the post, which currently has 12 million likes. “I’m almost done but your support will make me move faster.”
The pop superstar hasn’t released an album since 2015’s Purpose. Back in April, he returned to the stage and teased new music was on the way during his performance with Ariana Grande at Coachella.
“So anyways this is my first time on stage in like two years, so I had to get my groove back. I had to get my swag back,” he told the crowd. “And by the way, album coming soon.”
Fans of the “Sorry” singer have still been able to enjoy his features on songs with artists including Chris Brown, Gucci Mane, Dan + Shay, Ed Sheeran, and Billie Eilish.
