An elderly white man in Brooklyn went on a racist tirade and hurled the n-word at an MTA bus driver.
The shocking video was uploaded online that shows an elderly white man riding a Brooklyn MTA bus while going on a racist rant and spitting at the driver. The disgusting racist encounter went down on the B68 bus heading north on Coney Island Ave. in Midwood around 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, officials said.
The racist man sat in a seat reserved for the elderly and disabled riders. After he was confronted by a few passengers about his seat choice he called several the N-word.
“Don’t f–k with me, you n—–,” he said.
After the bus driver asked him to get off the bus, the man replied,
“I was waiting for the bus for 45 minutes! Drive and shut your mouth, n*****.”
After being called the racial slur, the bus driver refused to move the bus. After the bus stood still for several minutes, the bigot got out his seat and walked towards the front exit. He punched the barrier that protects the bus driver and spat at him before getting off the bus, the alarming video shows.
Metropolitan Transportation Authority spokesman Shams Tarek said the NYPD has been contacted for a full investigation, NY Daily News Reports. No arrests have been made.
“This is abhorrent, racist, and violent behavior,” Tarek said. “Any crimes committed should result in prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.”
