Beyonce’s firstborn Blue Ivy made a special appearance in the music video for her Lion King-inspired single “SPIRIT”.
The official visuals were released on Tuesday. This is the first single off the upcoming film soundtrack that features
“This soundtrack is a love letter to Africa,” Beyoncé, 37, said in an interview with ABC News. “I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa, and not just use some of the sounds and did my interpretation of it.”
In addition to “Spirit,” Beyoncé, who voices lioness Nala in the Disney remake, helped executive produce the album, “The Lion King: The Gift,” which will drop Friday. The album also features Kendrick Lamar, JAY-Z, Childish Gambino, 070 Shake, Tierra Whack, Pharrell, and more. In addition, there’s a song with JAY and Bey’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
