Blue Ridge Parkway

Midwesterns will enjoy the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway that connects two national parks – Shenandoah in Virginia to the Great Smoky Mountains in North Carolina. The 469-mile drive is one of the most visited roadways within the U.S. National Parks System. The route starts at Front Royal in Virginia and travels along Skyline Drive into North Carolina. Road trippers can take in the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, a subrange of the Appalachian Mountains.
