North Easters hoping to add some adventure and delicious lobster to their road trip can opt for Downeast Maine along Coastal Route 1, also known as the Lobster Trail. The route starts in Kittery, ME and trails along the rocky coastline “down east” through the peaceful fishing villages of New England including Belfast and Rockland.
