Cops are reportedly investigating following a physical altercation between Wendy Williams’ teenage son and her estranged ex-husband Kevin Hunter.
According to TMZ, the incident went down at a store parking lot near the family home in New Jersey. Wendy dropped her 18-year-old son Kevin Jr. off at the family home to pick something up. Things were fine between Kevin and Kevin Jr. as the two went to a nearby store together to pick up a few items.
However, sources say in the store parking lot the father and son got into an argument over Kevin’s demand for spousal support. Kevin Sr. then launched and claimed Wendy was “brainwashing” their son against him, TMZ reports. Things escalated and got physical when Kevin Sr. allegedly put his son in a headlock. Sources say Kevin Jr. punched his father in the nose to break his hold.
Cops have confirmed to TMZ they are investigating “an incident” between Kevin and Kevin Jr. The fight comes after Wendy filed for divorce in April following revelation that Kevin Hunter had a baby with another woman, Sharina Hudson. Kevin was later fired from her show and as her manager. Wendy also dissolved their foundation and Kevin recently announced that he is starting a new one.
