A self-proclaimed “hoe” from Los Angeles has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for sex trafficking young female minors!
23-year-old Melanie Denae Williams was issued the lengthy sentence after pleading guilty to sex trafficking. She also admitted to violently beating and abusing many of her victims who were mostly minors.
Williams went by the alias “Pretty Hoe” on social media and received the mandatory minimum sentence in November for the charge of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. She was also ordered to pay restitution to her victims.
According to her plea deal, Williams confessed to recruiting young girls and women through social media to work as prostitutes. She also admitted to abusing her victims including throwing bleach, punching and beating the victims with a broomstick. In one incident, Williams admitted to forcing the victim to get her name tattoed on her face and threatening to kill her if she tried to leave. Williams reportedly kept the earning from her victims following their commercial sex acts.
On her Instagram account, Williams described herself as “the most hated hoe in L.A.,” and had previously uploaded videos of her physically beating and using guns to threaten her victims. Her social media activity was used as evidence against her, including pictures and video she posted of her in bed with a man while twerking over piles of money on her Instagram and Snapchat account.
