Kelis has seemingly responded to recent reports that she’s dating actor Bill Murray.
The “Milkshake” vocalist, 43, took to Instagram on Friday night to share a few swimsuit snaps in a beautiful two-piece. But her 1.1M followers took it as an opportunity to ask about the rumors linking her to the 72-year-old “entertainer” Ghostbusters” star.
“Ma’am would you care to address these Bill Murray allegations?!? Cuz damn! What he doing with all that?!?” one fan asked, eliciting a response from the singer.
‘Lol no babe, I wouldn’t bother at all,’ she responded, humorously shutting down the conversation.
The rumor mill started spinning on Thursday after sources claimed Kelis and Bill have supposedly been “getting close for a while” after meeting in the United States. The pair reportedly bonded following the passing of Kelis’ husband, Mike Mora last year, from stomach cancer at age 37.
Murray is still grieving the loss of his ex-wife, Jennifer Steward, who he split from in 2008 after 12 years of marriage, prior to her death in 2021.
Last weekend, Murray was spotted watching some of Kelis’ latest shows, including her most recent ‘from the side of the stage in London,’ via The U.S. Sun. According to insiders, they “met up in the States before, which got people in the industry talking, and now are meeting up in London while they’re both here.”
‘They’ve clearly hit it off,’ the sourced added. ‘They were both seen at the same hotel, and he’s been to watch her perform several times before he went to Mighty Hoopla [in South London].”
