Inventor and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is still in full support of Kanye West running for president despite tweeting about their “differences of opinion” following the rap mogul’s controversial interview with Forbes.
“Kanye explained afterward some of the reasoning behind why he said what he said. It makes more sense than many people, including me, realized.” Musk told PageSix.
He added when Kanye should run.
“I have not dropped my support for Kanye, although I think 2024 would be better than 2020.”
When asked to explain his comments, he replied,
“Brevity is the sole meunière of wheat,”.
Following West’s initial Twitter announcement on his run for President 2020, Musk tweeted “You have my full support!”
But that was before West’ bizarre interview with Forbes where he claimed vaccines are “the mark of the beast” and that Planned Parenthood was “placed inside cities by white supremacists.”
Musk then tweeted,
“We may have more differences of opinion than I anticipated.”
While he did not clarify what different opinions he has with West he did speak on being a father to his newborn son with girlfriend Grimes, X Æ A-Xii.
“Babies are so cool,” he told Page Six.
