Rap superstar Nicki Minaj appears ready to tie the knot following recent reports of her official file for a marriage license.
According to TMZ, witnesses saw the Grammy nominated rapper at a Beverly Hills courthouse on Monday standing at the marriage license bureau window. The couple and longtime friends walked out with the paperwork they need to get married, the outlet reports.
Nicki and Kenneth were trying to keep a low profile inside the courthouse while waiting in line at a window that read, “marriage licenses and ceremony appts. ONLY” Kenneth paid for the license before they left, TMZ reports. Nicki was wearing a ball cap, but her signature bright and floor length tresses were hard to ignore.
News of the official filing comes after the “Megatron” femcee revealed last month on her “Queen Radio” show that she and Kenneth had already gotten their marriage license. It could be possible that they were only securing a filing they might have already made.
No wedding dates have been set as of yet. But marriage licenses are good for a maximum of 90 days.
This will be the first marriage for Nicki. She began dating her childhood friend last year. The two had previously dated during their teenage years.
