In yet another case of “isn’t it ironic” news, “Love and Hip Hop NY” star Brittney Taylor has been slapped with a restraining order in a pending assault case just two months after she accused Remy Ma of physical assault.
The rapper and reality star has been ordered to far away from a woman she allegedly beat up during a wild brawl in her luxury Manhattan apartment complex.
A New York judge signed off on a temporary order of protection against Taylor in addition to turning over any firearms she has in her possession. The temporary order of protection will stay in effect through December 14.
The restraining order comes after Brittney was accused of throwing a cell phone at the woman and striking her in the forehead during their brawl last weekend. Police also say Brittney scratched up the woman’s neck and left her visibly injured.
According to TMZ, Brittney’s attorney, Sanford Rubenstein, says he’s asking the Manhattan DA for a meeting in an effort to get them to drop the prosecution “in the interest of justice.”
Taylor’s assault case comes a few months after she accused fellow LHHNY star Remy Ma of giving her a black eye backstage at a benefit concert in NYC.
