The new digital series “GIANTS” has been hailed for its celebration of true #BlackBoyJoy and now the black millennial web series is leading the pack with 11 Daytime Emmy nominations!
The coming-of-adulthood drama series was created by James Bland and was originally streamed on “Insecure” creator Issa Rae’s YouTube channel. Now with season two airing last weekend, viewers continue to follow the lives of three Black millennials who each battle their own inner giants as they approach the age of 30. Unable to escape conflicts of identity, sexuality and mental health – each character reaches a sobering turning point that leads them on a quest for self-acceptance, stability and a sense of greater purpose.
