It looks like while former “Empire” star Jussie Smollet is experiencing a massive decline in his career, the business dealings of his alleged attackers have skyrocketed.
After Abel and Olabinjo Osundairo admitted to staging an attack on Smollett back on January 29, the two Nigerian-American brothers are reportedly experiencing major success with their fitness training business while Jussie’ popularity continues to lose steam.

According to TMZ, business for Team Abel fitness training has skyrocketed with sales on her $30 workout plans and $50 premium plans. In addition to that, Abel Osundairo just won a boxing competition in Chicago last week, Page Six reports.
Abel reportedly “took home the ‘senior novice division’ title Friday night following a technical knockout in the first round” and “the division is for less experienced boxers between 21 and 35 who weigh 178 pounds or less.”
In addition to all of that, court documents obtained by the Associated Press claimed the brothers were well taken care of by the Chicago PD.
“Chicago police provided a six-night hotel stay with separate rooms and 24-hour security.” The hotel stay was “from Feb. 15 to Feb. 21 at the Chicago South Loop Hotel near the city’s McCormick Place convention center.” Also, “Assistance for food and incidentals were also provided” one report read.
But while the brother’s popularity continues to soar, Smollets remains on the decline. On Thursday Deadline revealed that Smollett is no longer being considered to play the lead role in the Broadway revival of “Take Me Out,” a theatrical stage play about a mixed-race baseball star who comes out as gay. There have also been several reports from TV Insider that this will be Smollett’ last season on “Empire.”
Smollett was cleared of all charges but was sued by the city of Chicago for a half a million dollars. He continues to maintain his innocence.
