Morris Chestnut recently joined The DL Hughley Show and shared his thoughts and legacy on the late John Singleton.
The iconic film “Boyz in the Hood”, which earned Singleton an Oscar nod for Best Director, created a new genre of black cinema.

The film was released in 1991, and in recent years, the cast and creative team celebrated its 25th year anniversary.
