Rapper Nipsey Hussle was gunned down Sunday in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, south of the Crenshaw area. But Black Twitter appears to be convinced the Grammy-nominated rapper was targeted due to his upcoming documentary on the late herbal healer Dr. Sebi.
The 33-year-old LA native was outside his clothing company, The Marathon Store, with two others when a black male suspect opened fire. The suspect is believed to be in his 20s. Authorities say he approached the group on foot and issued the fatal shots. He is said to have fled off in a nearby vehicle driven by a female driver. According to TMZ, police are saying the shooting is gang-related due to Nipsey being a known member of the Crips gang.
However, despite the details. The internet appears to be convinced that the late rapper’s death was conspired by the American government and big pharma. Following the shocking news of his death, various people on social media suggested Nipsey’s work on an upcoming documentary centered around the late herbal healer Dr. Sebi is what led to the musician’s slaying.
The Grammy-nominated rapper was in the process of creating a documentary surrounding Dr. Sebi’s court victory against the American government where it was proven that he found the cure for all diseases. According to The Root,
The myth of Dr. Sebi grew stronger in 1988 after the self-taught herbalist ran ads in the Amsterdam News, the Village Voice
and the New York Postnoting that “AIDS has been cured.” The story goes that the New York State attorney general and New York City Department of Consumer Affairs told Dr. Sebi to remove the ads; he refused and was arrested. The charges leveled against him included practicing medicine without a license, selling products not approved by the Food and Drug Administration, and fraudulently claiming that he could cure AIDS and other diseases. The judge asked Dr. Sebi to bring in one patient who could testify that he had cured him or her of these potentially fatal diseases. He reportedly provided 70 patients and won the case.
