TV One is set to air their inaugural URBAN ONE HONORS on Thursday, February 28 at 8 p.m. ET/7C!
Comedian DL Hughley will host the stellar show that honors some greats in urban entertainment including Jermaine Dupri, April Ryan, Brandy, Tom Joyner, Marvin Sapp, DJ Khaled, June Ambrose, Doc Walker, Shaun King, Benny Pough, Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, Jade Novah, Dr. Nadia Lopez, Tracy Martin, Sybrina Fulton and Rotimi.
The awards show was developed to acknowledge and honor individuals or organizations that have made an extraordinary impact on society and culture.

The Urban One Honors represents excellence in the areas of innovative programming, successful business ventures, advanced technology, entertainment, social activism, education, and community service, through diligence and dedication. Big names in gospel and R&B are set to perform including Marvin Sapp, K-Ci of Jodeci, Elle Varner, and viral sensation Avery Sunshine.
